Non-traditional Jacobi Spectral-Collocation Method for Weakly Singular Integral Equations of the Second Kind

报告摘要:Weakly singular integral equations of the second kind typically have non smooth solutions, which seriously affects the accuracy of spectral methods. We propose two numerical methods, implicitly linear and nonpolynomial Jacobi spectral-collocation methods to overcome the reduction in the numerical accuracy of the spectral methods caused by the singularities of the solutions. Convergence analysis in the L−norm is carried out and the exponential convergence rate is obtained. We demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed methods by numerical examples. 

简介:黄秋梅,北京工业大学教授,博士生导师。主要研究积分方程与时滞微分方程高效数值解法,在SIAM Numer. Anal., SIAM Sci. Compt., J. Sci. Comput.等杂志发表论文40余篇。主持国家自然科学基金项目5项、北京自然科学基金面上项目等多个项目;入选“北京市科技新星”计划、“北京市教委青年拔尖人才”培育计划等;获北京市高校青年教学名师奖、贵州省科技进步二等奖等。
