报告摘要：We formulate a conjecture relating the topology of a manifold's universal cover with the existence of metrics with positive m-intermediate curvature. We prove the result for manifolds of dimension n∈{3,4,5} and for most choices of m when n=6. As a corollary, we show that a closed, aspherical 6-manifold cannot admit a metric with positive 4-intermediate curvature.

报告学者简介：姚萱博士本科毕业于清华大学物理系，2021年毕业进入Cornell大学读博，2025年夏获得博士学位。即将前往Princeton University 以及 The University of Chicago 进行博士后研究。 姚萱的研究方向是几何分析。研究课题集中在Yamabe问题，数量曲率，相对论等问题。
